Co-founder and Co-managing Partner Peter Haskopoulos recently spoke with Private Funds CFO on ILPA's new proposed quarterly reporting templates. The proposed quarterly reporting templates give fund administrators the opportunity to make themselves more efficient and marketable, but there is an implementation period that may require heavier lifting.
Fund administrators will be able to deliver existing data to GPs and LPs more easily once the templates are in place. Peter commented, "From a fund administrator perspective, if you're really keen on accounting for things in a very detailed level, that will really be an advantage for a fund administrator because now you can say 'our standard protocol is to get down to this level of expense booking."
